Obituary: Death of the Honorable Foinding Calvin
The honorable Foinding Calvin is no more. The deputy died on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday following a cardiac arrest at the Le Jourdin clinic in Yaounde, according to media in his locality Bandjoun.
A member of the National Assembly, Foinding Calvin was also a football player. He was president of Mont Cameroun FC, which released players like Benoît Angbwa and Daniel Ngom Kome. The Mount Cameroon Football Club de Buéa is a Cameroonian football club based in Buea, which plays at home at the Molyko Stadium (around 15,000 seats).
The club was founded in 1997 by the Honorable Calvin Foinding. It is the only club from the South-West Cameroon region to have won the Cameroon Cup in 2002.
