Disruption of internet supply: good news for consumers.
At the end of the crisis meeting chaired by the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Minette Libom Li Likeng, last Monday in the presence of the Director General of Telecommunications, Regulatory Council and other Directors General of mobile telephone companies as well as service providers internet, on the frequent internet outages and the difficulties of online services in Cameroon as in 12 other African countries, Minette Li Libom Likeng declared that the internet and other online services would improve in Cameroon by the weekend. She also revealed that data credit will be refunded to customers who suffered recurring internet outages while traffic was diverted to the South Atlantic interlink cable that connects Cameroon and Brazil after the failure of the three submarine cables.
